Charity Ratings

best-in-usa-ribbonACGT has been accepted into the Independent Charities of America’s Federation, specifically CancerCURE of America. Their mission is to represent charities that meet the highest standards of public accountability and program effectiveness and to facilitate gifts to those charities from contributors in fund drives conducted at work and on the web. These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.

bbbACGT is approved by the coalition of the Better Business Bureau and the National Charities Information Bureau for meeting the highest standards of governance, effectiveness, public communications and financial responsibility. The BBB Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability were developed to assist donors in making sound giving decisions and to foster public confidence in charitable organizations. The standards seek to encourage fair and honest solicitation practices, to promote ethical conduct by charitable organizations and to advance support of philanthropy.
