January 2008 ACGT Presented an Informational Program on Scientific Advances in Cancer Gene Therapy for Ovarian and Breast Cancer on January 10,2008. Moderated by ACGT Scientific Council Member Stephen L. Eck, MD, PhD, Vice President, Translational Medicine and Pharmacogenomics, Eli Lilly and Co. the program featured presentations by ACGT Research Fellow, George Coukos, MD, PhD of the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute and by Leisha A. Emens, MD, PhD, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine whose research was also funded by ACGT.

January 2008 ACGT Research Fellow Dr. Robert Vonderheide, of the University of
Pennsylvania Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute, was recently
featured on ABC News with Charles Gibson, describing his progress in
cancer vaccine research and the promising results when used in dogs with
lymphoma. Funded in part by ACGT, Dr. Vonderheide hopes to be testing
