Mr. Keil has had a distinguished 40 year career in banking, serving, most notably, as President of Republic New York Corporation and Chairman of its Finance Committee for thirteen years.
Following the sale of the bank to HSBC he has been active as a financial adviser to major companies including HSBC on its acquisition of CCF.
He is a member of the Board of Leucadia National Corporation (LUK – NYSE). He is also Chairman of the Executive Committee of The Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy. He graduated with a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and did graduate work in mathematical statistics at the London School of Economics. He obtained his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
