Sharon Walsted Phillips holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College, an MBA from Columbia University and attended New York Law School. After a career in finance with Prudential Lines and Union Carbide and venture capital with Alan Patricof Assoc.and Sterling Grace & Co., Ms. Phillips became active in the non-profit sector both as a professional and volunteer. Her firm, Pappas-Phillips provided development services to non-profit clients. She has served on numerous boards of directors, including Goddard-Riverside Community Center and the Big Apple Circus in New York and Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Library and Reach,Inc. in Connecticut. Currently, Ms. Phillips in also on the boards of Connecticut Grand Opera & Orchestra and Family Centers, Inc.
