President/Chairman Board of Directors Stamford, CT In 1971, Mr. Netter, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, organized the predecessor company to Geneve after serving as an Executive Officer, Director and principal of the investment firm of CBWL-Hayden Stone. In addition to serving on the National Advisory Board of The Netter Center for Community Partnerships at Penn, Mr. Netter is a member of the President’s Advisory Council of The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation which aims to recruit outstanding students to pursue teaching as a career, a trustee of Thanks to Scandinavia, an organization which provides scholarships to international students, and a member of the advisory committee of North General Hospital in New York City. Mr. Netter and his wife, Barbara, founded Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, Inc. in 2001 as a public charity. ACGT facilitates funding for high-potential research into gene therapy, in hopes of realizing an effective alternative to the current treatment and management of cancer. Mr. Netter is engaged in a number of other philanthropic activities relating to education, science and human services and, in 2006, was elected to the Business Leader Hall of Fame at Quinnipiac University. < Return to Board of Directors & Staff |
