Barbara Netter
Co-founder of ACGT
Chairman of ACGT's Special Events

Barbara Netter is co-founder of ACGT and Chairman of ACGT's Special Events. Mrs. Netter is a practicing therapist in New York and Connecticut. She served as staff therapist at Pelham Family Services, Pelham, NY, for twenty years.

Mrs. Netter has held a private practice for the past fifteen years as well as working as facilitator at the Den for Grieving Kids of Family Centers. In 2003, Mrs. Netter was awarded the Louise Grisafi Community Health Award in recognition of her volunteer contributions to the community.

In addition to serving on ACGT's Board of Directors, she serves on the Board of the Center for Community Partnerships, University of Pennsylvania, and the Advisory Board of the Women’s Health Initiative, Greenwich Hospital. Mrs. Netter serves on the Advisory Board of the School of American Ballet, New York City, and is a Patron of the Arts supporting Alvin Ailey Co. and Connecticut Ballet, to name a few.

Mrs. Netter is a graduate of New York University, attended the Family Institute of Westchester and received her M.S. from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY.
