Scientific Advisory Council The Scientific Advisory Council is composed of 18 of the nation's preeminent physicians and researchers in gene therapy. Council members serve without remuneration and establish the scientific criteria for review of all grants, develop strict accountability guidelines, and review progress reports. Council submits recommendations for funding to the Board of Directors. Chairman
